About me

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a veterinary surgeon and a behaviourist. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and have worked in both the charity and private practice sectors. I am currently working towards my certified clinical animal behaviourist (CCAB) qualification after achieving a distinction in my Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln in 2025.

Your pet comes first

Our Approach

Because we operate with veterinary insight, our approach is uniquely thorough:

  • Welfare-Focused: Our primary goal is always to support the emotional wellbeing and safety of both the animal and the household.

  • Evidence-Based: We build structured, practical modification plans grounded in the latest clinical behavioural science.

  • Highly Collaborative: We work directly with your primary care veterinary surgeon to ensure all medical factors are fully considered, and we happily collaborate with welfare-focused trainers for on-the-ground support.

Supporting the Extended Clinical Community

Insight Behaviour isn’t just for pet owners. We are deeply committed to supporting our fellow veterinary professionals and behaviourists too. Whether navigating a fast-paced first-opinion practice or managing complex, long-term behaviour modification plans, these cases require a delicate balance of medical investigation, risk mitigation, and client communication.

Ready to begin the journey?

Whether you are a pet owner looking for a comprehensive behavioural assessment, a certified behaviourist seeking case consultation and collaborative support, or a veterinary professional in need of guidance, we are here to help.
